The Role


Requirements:

• 13 years' experience in UAT testing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Experience in testing solutions across multiple systems.
• Experience of working in an insurance or finance environment would be beneficial but not essential.
• Working knowledge and experience of Jira, SQL, Python, Tableau is desirable.
• Have strong communications skills (written and verbal) to communicate at all levels within the company, and work with external service providers.
• Curious and driven to learn new skills and systems, to look at new ways of working, and to improve the collaboration across the teams working on 'Development' area.
• Ability to work as part of a global team in developing effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
• Adaptable and flexible; able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within a fastpaced business environment.
• Possess strong and demonstrable organisational skills.
• Methodical, with a strong attention to detail.
• Possess an energetic, proactive and an enthusiastic attitude.
• Disciplined, hardworking and resilient; able to perform effectively under pressure.
• Flexibility around working patterns is essential due to colleagues working in multiple time zones.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute testing plans as per timelines and to a high quality.
• Creation of Test Scenarios/Test Cases/Scripts for User Acceptance testing (UAT).
• Participate in user acceptance, integration, and regression testing.
• Analysis of tests results.
• Use Jira for repository, reporting and tracking tasks/bugs and providing updates on them.
• Ensuring that all test queries are followed through and that requirements / defects / bugs are resolved.
• Support 'go live' through the documentation of system changes via user guides.
• Accurate and timely data entry into Petcover software packages.
• Use a variety of software programs for data extraction and production of weekly and monthly reports.
• Create and manage database reports and visualisations.
• Comparing, analysing and reporting on data quality and structure.
• Provide training and support as required on rollout.
• Provide support and assistance to any member of the Petcover Team as required.
• To undergo further training as required.
• Participation in project and team meetings.
