We're looking for a Stores Manager at our depot in Stockport Depot.

Reporting to the Fleet Engineer, the primary duties in this role are ensuring our stores hold essential part, reordering stock as required and liaising with our suppliers.

The ideal post holder should have knowledge of

Computer systems (including spreadsheets)
Stock control procedures and budgetary constraints
How to use and understand parts catalogues and online portals
Sources of parts/material supply
Sound personal skills including, communication, motivation, and a desire to succeed
Planning and prioritising
Analysing
Decision making
Able to safely lift packages and parts

The role is primarily Monday - Friday, 38 hours a week, and such additional hours as may be required for the efficient performance of the post.

A clean driving licence and fork truck licence are desirable but not essential.
