About the Role

We require production operatives specialising in one or more of the following: printed circuit assembly inspection, plated through hole assembly and rework.

Main responsibilities:

To carry out printed circuit assembly inspection, plated through hole assembly and/or rework
To carry out general production work
To operate and clean assembly and production machinery and also handheld tools
To work from diagrams and instructions
To carry out basic testing and quality checks
To maintain accurate process data/records/documentation associated with your work
To inform supervisors of faulty machinery or production issues
To adhere to health and safety standards, quality standards, policies and procedures
To adhere to the production schedule
To adhere to operational procedures and production timelines
To carry out lean manufacturing processes and 5S
To provide improvement ideas to the Production Supervisor
To collaborate with technical and quality departments when required

The above is not an exhaustive list of day-to-day responsibilities. Duties should be carried out in accordance with local work instructions and procedures. There may be a requirement for some flexibility within this role.

About You

Essential
Experience of printed circuit inspection, plated through hole assembly and/or rework

Excellent attention to detail

Strong teamwork skills

A technical mind and ability to work with your hands

Working knowledge of relevant machinery and equipment

Knowledge of relevant safety and quality standards and procedures

The ability to interpret technical specifications and information

Good communication skills

Continuous learning and development

Desirable
Background in Electronics Manufacturing

Lean manufacturing and 5S
