This role involves the inspection of incoming as well as outgoing goods, with and eye for quality and attention to detail.

We require a Quality Technician who is attentive to minor defects.

Someone who wants to help insure safety and quality along the supply chain, and takes pride of his or her own work.

This isn't just another 'quality inspector' position.

This position involves dealing with some of the biggest eVTOL UAVs in operation and ensuring parts meet specification from the point where individual components arrive to the factory.


  • Full time role for an immediate start.

Responsibilities

  • Inspection and acceptance of incoming goods according to engineering instructions.
  • Perform predelivery quality checks on UAVs.
  • Inspection and acceptance of pre and postprocessed parts.
  • Ensure that UAVs are built according to quality standards, with all actions recorded.
  • Interface with the Production team to register and resolve quality nonconformities with the Engineering team.
  • Sign off quality inspections on production aircraft.
  • Ensure build logs are maintained and stored

Skills and Experience Required:


  • Mechanically and technically competent
  • A demonstrable experience where quality was their main priority
  • A methodical and logical approach to information recording and management
  • An analytical approach to the work, with a desire to understand and take ownership of an issue
  • The ability to quickly understand and adapt to changing requirements
  • Occasionally work remotely in the UK and abroad at short notice

Desirable:


  • Experience of basic engineering principles
  • Experience of electromechanical assembly

£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
