Job Summary:


At our world class facility at Riccarton Edinburgh, our European Shared Service Accounting Department currently has an exciting career opportunity for a Credit Controller based at our site in Riccarton, Edinburgh.


The European Shared Service Accounting Department within Charles River is responsible for providing a full range of services for employees, suppliers, customers and senior management.

Our aim is to deliver quality services in a timely and efficient manner.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Allocate cash receipts to outstanding invoices in SAP system
  • Contact clients in accordance with credit control procedures to chase payment of invoices
  • Deal with client requests for information regarding outstanding invoices
  • Maintain records of client contact
  • Contact new clients to confirm receipt of invoices and payment procedures
  • Prepare analyses of overdue debts as required
  • Provide backup as required in invoice/contract processing duties

Requirements:


  • Previous experience of working in a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable function required.
  • Standard grade passes in Maths and English.
  • Excellent organizational skills together with strong problem solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience of working in a busy Finance office and familiarity with integrated finance software such as SAP and Excel.
The salary for this role is £26,244.91.
