GKR are excited to be working with an up and coming real estate focused private equity firm that focuses around student accommodation investment and is about to close their second fundraise less than two years since their first.

A fast growing and verycommercially focused business with entrepreneurial owners who have already exited a successful business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for upcoming commercial finance individual to join a young team and be part of growing business with a clear exit strategy.

The role with support the CFO and manage other junior members of the team.

  • An Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA CIMA)
  • At Least 5 years' worth of experience within a relevant field (Finance in Real Estate or just Finance as a sector)
  • Strong Excel skills when it comes to Financial Modelling.
  • Significant Problem solving and Analytical skills.
  • Able to work under pressure due to deadlines and independently.
  • Strong written and spoken communication abilities.
  • Good grasp and understanding of consolidation, budgeting, accounting, and financial modelling.
  • Coming from an Auditing background is desirable.

Salary:
£60,000-£70,000

  • Preparation of financial documents that provide information on future projects
  • Aid in overall control of the finances for current projects and finances for improvements across the company.
  • Record all operational finances on a daybyday basis.
  • Maintain a keen eye on the cash flow to make sure all projects are running smoothly
  • Assist the company's external and internal accounts and make sure they match up with the accounts that have been audited and are kept up to a high standard.
