syncreon are currently recruiting for a
Site Security Supervisor working at our
Hinckley site in Leicestershire. The
Site Security Supervisor will have full responsibility for all site security and reports to the UK Security Manager. On a daily base you will work closely with our local site IT management team as well as with our local teams ensuring optimal site security regarding the logistic operation. The Site Security Supervisor provides daily management of our external suppliers (man-guarding services and electronic security; installations) and external security staff in a dotted line.

About the Role

How you will contribute

Responsible for the delivery, customization and development of internal security processes ensuring clear instruction, including training to all staff employed on site;
Assistance during internal and external audits (TAPA, GSA, Customs, RA etc.);
Take part in Project Launches from the security perspective;
Identify risks, research and deploy relevant solutions and innovative security management techniques
Responsible for corrective and preventive maintenance; also service on system malfunctions;
Manage the access control system (new cards, misuse, system review);
Make backup planning;
Be proactive in addressing opportunities for improvement, safety, efficiency, etc.;
Responsible for managing external suppliers to the Security department (QBR, complaints etc)
Responsible for reviewing the external suppliers reporting (performance, work state, incidents etc).
Create relationship with local site IT to introduce and support security controls around system hardware and software used the day to day operation.
Work closely with the customer to introduce new security processes around a 'Access and Egress procedures and protocols.
Manage site adherence to IT data controls covered under GDPR

Your Key Qualifications:

Strong communication skills (able to train and motivate staff, manage external suppliers, negotiate contracts, act as escalation point for security related issues, cooperate with other team members);
Experience with TAPA security requirements and audit processes;
Knowledge of electronic security management systems;
Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
No criminal records and high level of personal integrity;
Proactive (identify issues and act upon);
Stressresilient (stay calm during escalations).
