Due to our continuing expansion, we have an excellent opportunity for a 3.5 tonne van driver, to join our team.

The role will also require you to support the recycling team as and when required.

  • A clean valid Drivers Licence, with entitlement to drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle, no penalties or endorsements
  • Must have held driving licence for minimum of 12 months.
  • Previous experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude.
The job role of an Van driver includes but is not limited to the following duties:

  • Operating vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
  • Planning delivery schedules and routes with transport managers
  • Driving to different locations throughout Scotland for uplifts
  • Packing of goods, Loading and unloading of goods.
  • Ensure loads are safely secured for transport
  • Completing delivery paperwork checking quantities and condition
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report maintenance issues
  • Maintaining a clean vehicle
  • Ideally will have a current fork lift license
  • Providing support to the site recycling team as an when required.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£10.90-£11.20 per hour

Experience:


  • Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
