Our client, an East Midlands Authority, is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Court Team, which is part of a fast-paced and varied service, handling all areas of children's social work.

Opportunity to work a 4-day week. Mileage allowance and car hire provided. Hybrid working available and you can choose which NCC office to be based in, so you can work even closer to home

You will also be provided with professional training in the form of team development days.

This will be done as part of a team which includes Social Work Assistants and Support Officers, who will also aid you in your day-to-day work.

Responsibilities of the role:

Provide services to children where a decision has been made to issue care proceedings, including sibling assessments.
Provide reports for court purposes. Including Viability Assessments, Parenting Assessments, Special Guardianship Assessments, Section 7 & Section 37 reports.
Carry out assessment of needs for both children and their families.
Produce and deliver quality care plans, in line with Every Child Matters.

Requirements of the role:

Must hold a degree in Social Work or equivalent.
Must be fully registered with Social Work England.
Must have a full UK driving license.
