Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be supporting one the worlds leading businesses in the addition of an Assistant Accountant to their team, to work closely with the Finance Manager.

If you are currently studying towards your CIMA/ACCA then this is a fantasticopportunity to join a large team and have the wider exposure to finance to develop your career.

This has seen this business now grow an impressive global scale, with operations in over 80 different countries across the world and a foot hold in many differentmarkets.


The role:

  • Supporting all bank account reconciliations
  • Monthly reconciliations of intercompany accounts monthly basis
  • Ensuring tax packs are completed on monthly basis
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Processing journals
  • Management of company credit cards
  • Reconciliation and processing of prepayments, accruals, and standard charges
  • Supporting the preparation of budgets and forecasting

The individual:

  • Studying towards CIMA/ACCA
  • Strong understanding of the ledgers
  • Excel skills, which include VLookups and Pivot Tables
  • Experience of being able to work on your own initiative but also within a team environment.
