About the Role


We're looking for a Senior Administrator to join our team on a fixed term contract (FTC) basis until the end of September 2023.

The role benefits from our 4xFlex working pattern, offering a 4 day working week, Mon - Thu. We also support hybrid working sotypically 2 days a week in Ampthill and 2 days a week from home (depending on business needs)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Primarily to support the PA & Platform Systems Management providing administrative support, data and information as required
  • Provide support to several Project Managers and team day to day requirements as required
  • Assistance with external visits to include badges, clearances, catering, room bookings, SkyVisitor, coordinating with Exec office where necessary
  • Assist the team with travel requirements & associated authorisations/paperwork.
  • Upload policy hub documents and maintain distribution list (training will be provided)
  • Manage new starter integration to include access to required drives, desk allocation, maintain departmental checklist.
  • Manage a number of distribution lists to include starter and leaver updates
  • Updates to action logs using ATS (training will be given)
  • Manage the office floorplate desk assignments, desk moves, keys, and security point of contact as required.
  • Manage all security procedures for the floorplate
  • Upload required documents to the departmental SharePoint site (training will be given)
  • Coordinate Platform Systems / general communications alongside the PA
  • Manage all team stationary requirements
  • Oversee all office supervision and maintenance, logging calls where necessary with IT and Facilities for assistance with printers, paper supplies etc.
Required skills, qualifications and experience

  • Proven experience as a Senior Administrator / Project Administrator or similar role
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment and be agile and adapt to changing priorities
  • Team player
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal
  • Intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office i.e. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Highly organised and pragmatic approach and able to deliver to set deadlines
  • Holds high level of professionalism at all times, ensuring high standards
  • Capable of attaining and maintaining SC clearance
