Accounts Payable Assistant/Purchase Ledger - Stockport

APPLICANTS WHO ARE CURRENTLY RESIDING OUTSIDE THE UK WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE

Duties:
-


  • Reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy and completeness
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Coding and entering invoices into the accounting system.
  • Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Processing payments.
  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate records of all transactions
  • Responding to client enquiries and resolving payment issues
  • Monitoring accounts payable aging and ensuring timely payment of invoices.
  • Assisting with monthend and yearend close processes
  • Participating in audits and providing support for audit requests related to accounts payable.

Essential:
-


  • Must have experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Sage, or Xero

£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Experience:


  • Accounts payable: 1 year (preferred)
- purchase ledger: 1 year (preferred)
