Accounts Payable Assistant/Purchase Ledger - Stockport

Duties:
-
- Reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and packing slips.
- Coding and entering invoices into the accounting system.
- Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies
- Processing payments.
- Maintaining accurate and uptodate records of all transactions
- Responding to client enquiries and resolving payment issues
- Monitoring accounts payable aging and ensuring timely payment of invoices.
- Assisting with monthend and yearend close processes
- Participating in audits and providing support for audit requests related to accounts payable.
Essential:
-
- Must have experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Sage, or Xero

£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
