Chestnut Court Care Home provides care for 23 residents in a comfortable, safe and homely environment and is based in the centre of New Milton, Hampshire.

The home is part of Beritaz Care which is a small, well established family owned group with care homes in Surrey, Hampshire and Dorset.

Person Specification:

• Able to work independently; to prioritise and organise work efficiently
• Able to develop and maintain good working relationships with residents and staff
• Able to demonstrate the ability to engage residents in group activities
• Previous experience as an activities assistant preferred
• Positive, outgoing and creative
• Able to motivate people and be sensitive to their needs
• Good communicator at all levels
• Understanding and awareness of resident living in the care home setting (dementia, elderly, Learning disabilities)

Full time (30 hours per week)
