Permanent contracting paying uplifted rates -MPS 1- 6 & UPS 1-3.

About the School


Located in St Albans, this is a large and well respected school offering high achievement and engaging learning at it's centre.

Staff here are well respected by Pupils and SLT alike and offered the autonomy good teaching deserves.

Due to an internal promotionto SLT the school are looking to appoint a Science teacher with the desire to lead the department of 11 including technicians.

Resources are readily available and the SLT operate an open door policy with meetings, consistent and to the point to ensure a suitablework life balance is achievable.

Staff here are happy and well respected by pupils.


Role requirements

  • QTS in Science any specialism welcome
  • Biology, Chemistry or Physics
  • Passion to lead and support a large department of 1
  • Experience of teaching a UK and ideally holding a position of authority within a school or education setting.
