This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of dinner times, supporting students as they progress in their educational journey.

Role Overview:

Are you passionate about food and hospitality? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team.

As a Catering Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our catering operations. Your responsibilities will include basic food preparation, setting up dining areas, and interacting with students during events. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude, we'd love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables.
Clean and sanitize tableware and chafing dishes before catering events.
Set up dining areas by arranging chairs, tables, banners, and tents according to instructions.
Load and unload food, tableware, and catering supplies onto and off catering vehicles.
Accept deposits and discuss pricing with clients.
Answer guests' questions and handle complaints related to catering services during events.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing situations.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
