Purpose of the role:
To provide comprehensive engagement to all AEB learners through effect information, advice, guidance. Ensuring we meet the needs of the learners at all times, ensuring eligibility and suitability for enrolment. Conducting enrolments in a professional, clear and concise manner whilst upholding the culture of Portland Training.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing an excellent level of customer service
- To contact and develop a rapport with new and existing learners
- Attending stakeholder drop ins, job fairs and other marketing events
- Conducting initial assessments with learners
- Accurately completing all enrolment and exit paperwork with learners to a quality standard
- Providing effective CEIAG to the new learner as appropriate
- Manage your own diary efficiently
- Generate new referrals through promoting Portland Trainings AEB provision
- Achieve monthly individual and team targets for enrolments and course attendance
- Reporting progress data and figures on a weekly basis to the AEB Contract Lead and Senior Management Team
- Undertake training where appropriate
- Update and maintain learner records including paper and electronic files
- Familiarise yourself with the External Funding Body rules and Ofsted requirements
- Promote equal opportunities and recognition of diversity throughout the company
- All staff should conduct themselves with professionalism in line with Portland Training's brand values and behaviours
- Comply with the Safeguarding, Prevent and Health and Safety Policies and to be vigilant to potential concerns and risks
- Maintain office standards at all times, keeping all areas clean and tidy and having a clear desk policy at all times
- Adhere to Portland Training's policies and procedures at all times
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required by the wider team to support Portland Training's objectives
Skills Required:
- Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Good organisational skills with an ability to prioritise workload and meet deadline.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft packages with a focus on Word and Excel
- Desire to learn, progress and build a career in the training industry
- May occasionally be required to work out of normal hours
- Driving licence, own car and business insurance
- Travel within Greater London Area
Qualifications
- A good standard of Maths and English
- IAG qualification desirable
Salary:
£28,800.00-£31,200.00 per year
