This inspiring children's charity are currently seeking a Director of Finance & Operations to join their close-knit team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the CEO, this role will manage a small team and be at the forefront of all things finance for thecharity, whilst holding strategic oversight of a range of other operational functions.

The key duties of this Director of Finance & Operations role are as follows:

Be at the forefront of the development and implementation of the charity's long-term financial plan and longer-term business planning.
Take the lead for all things HR, IT and Facilities, managing the relationships with the outsourced service providers.
Full responsibility for the production of the annual budget and sixmonthly reforecasts.
Sole charge for running the external audit process and ensuring the timely production of the outsourced statutory accounts.
Coordinate the monthly management accounts production, including the development of the management information pack with supporting variance analysis and commentaries.
Attend biweekly senior management team meetings and quarterly Board meetings.
Develop a more fitforpurpose cashflow forecasting process.

This brilliant role will suit someone who has previous experience working in a senior finance role, ideally in the charity sector, who is now looking for the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a growing charity whilst adding value in new areas.

The charity are currently operating on a hybrid working model, with opportunities to work from home for up to three days per week.

Achieved their full accountancy qualification or be qualified by experience.
Ideally, a background working in the charity sector, but this is not essential.
Demonstrable experience working at a senior level in a finance team.
Experience presenting at Board level.
Preferably, experience managing nonfinance functions.
A strong work ethic and brilliant interpersonal skills.
