Clarks has been defining retail fashion for almost 200 years. Just because our brand has an amazing history, though, doesn't mean we're not looking to the future. Right now, we're changing into a smarter and more commercial business—but customers will always be at the heart of what we do. Right now, we're looking for a Wholesale Showroom & Sales Coordinator to drive great customer experiences at our London Showroom.
The role
You'll manage the showroom, office and meeting rooms and lead your team in providing excellent customer experiences to wholesale customers.
You'll also support our Head of Wholesale, Key Account Managers and provide excellent experiences of our Wholesale Showroom for all other visiting colleagues.
Maintaining smooth-running and finding better ways of working will be a big part of your role here. You'll have autonomy to improve processes relating to showroom set-up, event management, health & safety and building issues as well as administrative processes like post, deliveries and how we handle enquiries.
Another focus will be the Sales team. You'll support them with things like purchase orders, order processing, expenses claims and holidays, but you'll also drive their performance against commercial targets, net profit contribution and sell-through.
Supporting teams throughout the wider region means that your impact here will go far beyond the confines of our showroom.
About you
When it comes to skillsets, you'll represent the best of both worlds: an administrator with real flair for streamlining processes and a customer service expert who's never more at home when charming visitors.
You'll have first-rate Microsoft Office (and, ideally, SAP) skills, understand sensitive information procedures and be able to manage your own workload.
You might come to us from Wholesale Sales, Operations or Customer Services and you should also have some experience in a high-level administrative role.
Whatever your background, you'll bring a collaborative style, a can-do attitude and the desire to learn—that's what will propel you to success here at Clarks.
About Clarks
Clarks, based in Somerset, England, has been at the forefront of innovative shoemaking since its foundation in 1825, when brothers James and Cyrus Clark made a slipper from sheepskin off-cuts.
At the time it was ground-breaking: a combination of invention and craftsmanship that has remained at the heart of what the brand does now.
In the Clarks archive of more than 22,000 pairs are shoes that have sparked revolutions and defined generations. From the original Clarks Desert Boot, first designed by Nathan Clark and launched in 1950, to the iconic Wallabee, each design has an instantly recognisable signature that makes it unmistakably Clarks.
This season, we're proud to introduce theClarks Collective:
five incredible activists championing authentic social change.
From mental health awareness and LGBTQ+ rights to greater racial equality, these trailblazers are committed to creating a brighter future for us all - bringing to life Clarks' new global campaign, For the World Ahead.
Through spotlighting their stories and supporting their chosen charities and initiatives, we're ready to lead the way. After all, we're originators, not imitators. It's who we are, who we've always been. And to change the world of tomorrow, we're doing things differently today. We love hearing from great people
