Salary:

Grade 10 from: £60,231 to £63,736 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £ 65,567 per annum inclusive of London Weighting.

The Department of Social & Political Sciences at Brunel University London is a thriving interdisciplinary Department, which features research and teaching in Anthropology, Communications and Media Studies, Criminology, Criminal Justice Studies, Intelligence and Security Studies, International Relations, Journalism, Military and International History, Modern History, Sociology, Political Communications, Politics and Sociology.

It has superb research across all disciplines, together with excellent NSS results.

The appointee will join a well-established research and teaching department with an outstanding track record of success. You will be expected to contribute teaching across our programmes, particularly in criminology and potentially in other relevant areas.

You will also be expected to participate in at least one of the research centres and/or hubs in the College of Business, Arts & Social Sciences, or a University Research Institute.
