What you will be doing
- Day to day operation of the company's Health and Safety management system:
- Creating, reviewing and amending RAMS
- Working with Coordinators and Project Managers to ensure works are properly planned, conducted, reviewed and reported
- Develop, implement and improve HS management systems processes and procedures to support business operations with ISO 9001, 14001, 27001 & 4500
- Undertake Health and Safety inspections internally and with third parties (contractors) as per the approved inspection program of the company.
- Managing and follow up on the preventive and/or corrective actions identified during audits, inspections and monitors the timely closing of the actions in coordination with other departments.
- Assisting with the implementation of CDM Regulations
- Prepare Health and Safety documentation for new projects, clients and vendors
- Delivering Toolbox Talks and maintaining the Connexin Culture
Key Responsibilities
- Day to day operation and implementation of the H&S System (ISO45001)
- Meet target driven auditing goals set by your manager (ISO9001)
- Improve quality and suggest process improvements (ISO9001)
- Become a key member of the SHEQ Team and build strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare Health and Safety documentation for new projects, clients and vendors
- Maintain and update as needed SOPs for all safe work practices and equipment and utilise them in a daytoday training
- Taking pride in representing the company
- Report compliance and noncompliance with equal professionalism (ISO ALL)
Essential Qualifications
IOSH Working Safely or Managing Safely or NEBOSH Award
Essential competencies and experience
- Conducting RA and MS
- Working Knowledge of CDM Regulations 201
- Implementing improvements
- Working in a fast paced office environment
- Experience working on Telecoms fibre networks, civil engineering or construction
