My client is looking for an extremely organized Assistant Accountant is required to join the finance function of one of the UK's most respected and fastest growing luxury fashion businesses.

The business is experiencing exponential growth and is looking for an experienced Finance professional to join the team.

Reporting to Finance Director duties of the role include:

Ensure that the information on the internal accounting system (Xero) is accurate and up to date.
Accurately process the purchase ledger invoices including verification against purchase orders and delivery documentation, reconciliation of statements and liaising with suppliers.
Prepare weekly and monthly payroll including responsibility for the weekly wage review
Responsible for raising wholesale invoices and credit control
Prepare a costing reporting assessing actual cost verses original costings for all styles manufactured
Conduct balance sheets reconciliations identifying and managing discrepancies.
Produce management information and reporting
Perform daily bank reconciliation on all bank accounts.
Assist the Finance Director in the production of Monthly MI & Statutory Accounts preparation
Assist in the production and development of the Company's Business Plan and budgets.
Establish, implement and maintain appropriate financial administration systems and policies to support the business (that do not exist at present)

Skills Required

Relevant education and professional qualifications e.g. A Level's, AAT/Part Qualified or qualified by experience.
Have at least 3 years previous experience from working within manufacturing or ecommerce/retail environment
Have experience of operating payroll
Have strong IT skills including Xero and Excel
