PURPOSE OF ROLE


Our receptionists are the first point of contact for visitors calling or clients visiting our office and are our brand ambassadors.

Key duties include welcoming clients and visitors to the office, handling switchboard calls, organising and preparing hospitality and offering administrative support to the Firm.

Every task undertaken must be delivered with an exceptional customer service approach.

This position also works closely with and supports teams within the firm by providing flexible and professional administrative support.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meeting, greeting and interacting with clients and staff offering excellent client service.
  • Hospitality duties, including setting up meeting rooms, putting our refreshments and keeping client areas clean and tidy and to a high standard.
  • Carrying our administrative duties as requested by your line manager.
  • Post duties, recycling and confidential shedding.
  • Maintain dead filing collections / deliveries
  • Monitor stationery and replenish as required. This includes Marketing merchandise.
  • Photocopying, filing, mail shots and binding as required.
  • Maintain car park bookings, collections/deliveries from couriers, collection/return of keys and passes.
  • Undertake any reasonable task commensurate with this level of position as requested by either your line manager or the Senior Partner.

GENERAL

  • Uphold the Firm's values at all times during both internal and external dealings.
  • Proactively seek out and attend relevant networking events in order to nurture and grow the Firm's client contacts with the view to generating growth.
  • Consistently produce high quality work which, at a minimum, meets client's expectations. In addition, work collaboratively with third parties as appropriate to ensure you exceed client requirements.
  • Willingly share relevant and appropriate knowledge with colleagues and support their development as required.

QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent with all Microsoft packages and relevant to the role IT packages.
  • A highly motivated commercial approach, with ability to work as part of a team and be a selfstarter working on your own initiative.
  • Have resilience to work under pressure; have excellent prioritisation, time management, negotiation and organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • Possess excellent/good communication and interpersonal skills and, deliver information clearly and succinctly.
  • Be proactive and receptive to change, hold a positive 'can do' attitude and uphold the highest level of professionalism at all times.

PRIMARY LOCATION
The role will be based within the Bristol office.

Pay:
£23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
