We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead on our payroll operations across the EMEA region. This is an exciting time to join the team as we grow and expand our EMEA region.

The role will work closely with both the global payroll leadership andlocal HR teams to ensure that payroll processes are run in accordance with global processes and fulfil all local regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the production and processing of EMEA payrolls, connecting tactical payroll activities to strategic HR and company goals
  • Develop opportunities to optimize EMEA payroll processes
  • Provide payroll analytics and insights to HR and other companywide stakeholders
  • Champion payroll compliance
  • Develop and improve the knowledge, skills and abilities of the payroll team Essential duties:
  • Oversee the processing of payroll for EMEA, in conjunction with the global payroll team
  • Prepare, review and verify EMEA payroll calculations for accuracy
  • Serve on various cross functional teams providing payroll guidance on taxation and other issues
  • Assist broader global payroll leadership in maintaining relationships with external international payroll service providers, to ensure they are meeting SLAs
  • Lead EMEA payroll related accounting efforts, documenting processes where appropriate
  • Assist broader global payroll leadership with strategic analysis and decision making, participating in relevant projects as assigned
  • Travel to CA or other designated location for team and leadership meetings as needed
  • Attending meetings, trainings, and other tasks as assigned by leadership Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification preferred)
  • Demonstrable payroll experience within UK
  • Germany and Nordic payroll processing would be very beneficial
  • Experience leading local payroll activities, with support from global payroll team
  • Experience working with multiple diverse payroll systems and vendors, like Workday, CloudPay, ADP and others
  • Experience with payroll audits and compliance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to drive toward common goals while meeting deadlines
  • Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively independently as well as with a team
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
