_Job Title Fleet Administrator _

_Location Leicester, Monday - Friday 8:30AM-5PM_

_Salary £22,000 per annum _
We are looking for a Logistics Assistant to join our team based in Leicester.


To support the Logistics Manager and ensure the overall management/maintenance of all vehicles, property & equipment owned by the company.

This is an extremely physical demanding role which requires the ability to be able to drive numerous vehicles and toprovide logístical services.


The Role

  • To complete weekly checks on all company vehicles/lorries and undertake any necessary repairs (nonmechanical)
  • To complete vehicle checks/condition reports and sign off sheets with all staff who take a company vehicle, for example all brake lights working. Completed documents stored electronically.
  • Vehicle is cleaned and is in good working order.
  • To be able to regularly drive/deliver all vehicles to various locations across the UK, when necessary, overnight stays will be required. To include driving the 7.5T lorry. Train journeys will be required depending on the vehicle drop off/pick up location.
  • Ensuring vehicles are all fuelled prior to going out.
  • Ensure keys are stored in a reasonable manner and labelled.
  • Mileage logbooks to be completed on every vehicle weekly and recorded. Records to be stored electronically.
  • To be responsible for the preparation of vehicles going to site ensuring that.
- all relevant equipment is in good working order.
- vehicles are cleaned inside and out and prepared.
- timely completion of tasks ready for collection.


On return:
- ensure that the vehicles are emptied, and equipment returned to location.

  • To be responsible for completing equipment inventory's, keeping them updated and stored electronically for the company
  • To be responsible for all equipment in stock, location of the stock and ensuring stock levels are maintained. Reordering stock against the equipment inventory once approved by Directors. All stock to be clearly labelled.
  • To learn and be able to PAC test all new/current stock which is the property of IDC Ltd. All equipment to be logged and PAC test dates recorded to be re called when required.
  • Support the Logistics Manager with the RPS role and understanding the Chest X-Ray equipment.

OTHER:

  • General office support to all departments, i.e Medical Records/manual handling
  • Garden Maintenance to the property.
  • Any other suitable duties as deemed necessary by the business.
  • Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities as required.
  • Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job.
  • All responsibilities to be carried out in a manner commensurate with the confidentiality of the service and in accordance with the Service Level Agreements.
  • Full UK driving License with C1E
  • Well organised
  • Good IT Skills
  • Good timekeeping
