Accounts Assistant
Central London
Salary £28,000 to £33,000
Hybrid job, 3 days in the office, 2 days at home
You'll be working in light and airy offices in the central London with great public transport connections and a warm and friendly team within a company that has been recognised for the way they value and reward their staff.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:
Supporting sales ledger services in the following activities, on a rotational basis:
- Processing cash receipts and attending to allocation of cash to sales invoices on the system
Supporting maintenance of the firm's deposit accounts in the following activities:
- Attending to the management of the electronic inbox relating to notification of deposit account deductions
- Attending to matching processes and processing of official fees charges as necessary
- Following up queries with fee earners and/or secretaries regarding the above
Supporting purchase ledger services in the following activities:
- Coding and processing of chargeable and non-chargeable invoices on the firm's accounting system. Some processing will be in French.
- Attending to a number of the firm's payment runs as directed
Supporting accounts control procedures in the following activities:
- Attending to bank reconciliation work
- Attending to petty cash counts
Personal Specs of the Accounts Assistant:
- AAT qualification
- Excellent Excel skills
- Excellent reconciliation and trouble shooting skills
- French language skills (preferred but not essential)
- Have a good eye for detail
- Able to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills
Job Types:

Salary:
£27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
