Requirements:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Able to get to Preston (PR2) in Preston for work daily
  • Worked supporting pupils with SEN or worked within a specialist provision before
  • Be able to differentiate your planning and teaching to meet the needs of your pupils
  • Work well as a team and be able to put the needs and wellbeing of others before your own
  • Be flexible and adaptable for different work environments

  • Competitive rate of pay £90 £150 per day

Teaching Personnel in partnership with specialist schools in the Bamber Bridge area of Preston are looking to hire a Primary qualified teacher (ideally with experience in Specialist Provision) to further develop their pupils educational and holistic progression.

As a primary SEN teacher, you will be required to differentiate your planning and teaching to meet the needs of your pupils whilst ensuring their EHC plans are being adhered to throughout.

As you will be working alongside support staff within the classroomit will be part of your role to ensure they are always kept up to date with daily plans and routines.


The school equip their pupils with essential life skills for when they leave the provision, they have transferable skills that can be used both in further education and in a working environment.

The pupils may display challenging behaviours, so being ableto work in a high-pressured environment in a calm and professional manner is paramount at this school.

The SLT are looking for members of staff to be able to form respectful relationships with their pupils whereby they build trust and ensure their safety andwell-being is always their top priority.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
