Description
Purpose

To develop and present Health Economic and Market Access (HEMA) materials across therapeutic areas at a subnational level, and develop and deliver appropriate health economic models and materials that resonate with the external healthcare environment.

This role delivers insights to the external environment that describe the local burden of disease and value of BI medicines.

Accountabilities

Contribute to the development of a VDMs team strategy to clearly define what the team does, how it's measured and how it fits into the organisational matrix structure.

VDMs support regional teams with health economic and market access knowledge and usage of payer materials via training.
In line with therapy area lead allocation.

The VDM will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of knowledge of local market access processes and model development including but not limited to NICE technology appraisals and budget impact models.

Ensure the VDM's work closely with HE colleagues to assist in the development of optimal national reimbursement and Value and Outcomes Consultant and [regional marketeer] to support the production of localised materials that support optimal patient access.

  • Full adherence to industry and company procedures e.g. ABPI (UK) / IPHA (Ireland), SOP's and business rules
  • Responsible for upholding the professional image of Boehringer Ingelheim
  • Conduct should be professional and appropriate at all times
Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Significant local market access knowledge
  • Experience in health economic and market access material development
  • Experience in taking assets through medical legal and regulatory frameworks
  • Effective in presenting information to HCPs and ORDMs
  • Experienced resource, budget and cost centre management experience
