INTERIM POWER BI DEVELOPER

PART-TIME HOURS (2-3 DAYS PER WEEK)

KEY OBJECTIVES:


  • Develop new PowerBI solutions by progressively working with the Senior Performance Analyst and key stakeholders to meet their requirements
  • Deliver insight and grow a selfserve capability across the business through the roll out of Power BI with the support of project managers and internal data analysts.
  • Adapt output to suit the audience and deliver data in a meaningful way to meet the needs and style of the audience.
  • Enhance and maintain automation of reporting
  • Play an active role in requirements gathering and to 'push' suggestions for change or continual improvement up to the Head of Business Intelligence & Management Information

WORK PACKAGE REQUIRED:


  • Knowledge of statutory children's social care services in a local authority setting desirable
  • Experience of creating advanced Power Bi dashboards from supplied datasets essential
  • Ability to teach/train maintenance and development of Power Bi dashboards essential.
  • Experience/knowledge of data extraction directly from data warehouse/client database essential

Expected Deliverables:

Fully functioning suite of dashboards to enable senior and front line managers to self-serve in respect of performance data pertaining to their service area and the Authority as a whole.

Performance team to be competent in maintainingand developing future dashboards using Power Bi
