Description

You will be based at the University of Liverpool Dental School in Pembroke Place and Alder Hey Children's Hospital.

You will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals and contribute to the development of both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.

You will have the option to focus on Teaching & Research or Teaching & Scholarship, depending on your strengths and previous experience.

You will have excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching and research in Paediatric Dentistry.

Responsibilities:

\- Deliver high-quality teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Paediatric Dentistry
\- Contribute to the development of the Paediatric Dentistry curriculum.
\- Develop and maintain research collaborations with colleagues both within and outside the department.
\- Develop and maintain a research portfolio in Children's oral health.
\- Supervise research projects and dissertations.
\- Support and mentor junior staff and students

Requirements:

\- A BDS (or equivalent) and an appropriate postgraduate qualification in Paediatric Dentistry
\- Full registration with the General Dental Council
\- Eligibility for honorary consultant status with Alder Hey Children's Hospital
\- PhD or equivalent
\- Demonstrable experience in teaching Paediatric Dentistry to both undergraduate and postgraduate students
\- A strong research track record in Children's oral health
\- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
