Stores Person - Tewkesbury
Our client is a market leading, global, electronics manufacturer based in Tewkesbury.
The company manufactures extremely specialist electronics products that are high value and low volume to a world wide client base.
Due to continual expansion, they are seeking to hire an experienced Stores Person to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful applicant will be instrumental in ensuring the manufacturing operations are provided with all the required components and kits in an organised manner.
They shall update stock control systems in order to reflect the transfer of goods from stores to the manufacturing area.
Also, to support the control of stock levels through perpetual inventory counting.Being an electronics organisation the working environment is very clean.
Key Responsibilities:
- The picking of components and kits accurately
- Ensuring the accuracy of stock levels is kept updated
- To comply with all H and S rules
- To ensure inventory is kept tidy and stored in the correct locations
- Be helpful and polite to internal and external customers
- To support the ongoing development of the stores function in line with the principle of continuous improvement
The Person:
- Previous experience working within a warehouse / stores environment
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills
- Ideally possess a counterbalance or reach FLT license, though for the right person full training can be given for this

Salary:
£24,000.00-£25,000.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
