Financial Accountant | £55k| Non-profit Organisation | Permanent

This Financial Accountant position is an exciting opportunity to join a large non-profit organisation as they enter into their year-end process.

This role would be crucial in providing accurate and timely financial reporting and planning for the organisationand delivering analytical reporting and ad hoc project management.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver timely and highquality month end management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
Overseeing statutory reporting and delivering both quarterly and yearly accounts prep.
Planning for yearend including delivery of accurate and timely reporting.
Analysing the consolidated accounts, delivering strong reporting.
Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the finance function
Coordinating financial processes across the department and supplying opportunities for improvement across both systems and policies
Managing a small team of transactional staff

Person Specification

A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
Strong experience in financial accounting including statutory reporting
A proactive and ambitious mindset with ability to analyse data
Excellent communicator with the ability to work with various stakeholders
