Jongor Hire is a family business who have been providing high-quality catering equipment and walk in Cold Rooms to businesses for over 45 years. We fulfil over 2,000 orders per year, from supplying hire equipment to events such as Cheltenham Gold Cup, Silverstone and The BRIT Awards, to supplying temporary kitchen units to the NHS and National Grid.

Working as part of a small team of 10 people, the
Warehouse Assistant duties include
cleaning, picking and
counting back,
loading,
unloading our hire catering equipment and
driving 3.5T Van.

Using the highest level of care and efficiency, you will be required to support multiple areas of our warehouse operations to ensure we meet our customers' demands in a timely and quality manner.

You need to be able to commute to our warehouse in Hayes.

Working Hours

Predominately in May you'll work
Monday to Friday 7.30am 4pm.
During June and July all staff are required to work additional hours, usually
Monday to Saturday 7.

30am - 6pm:

Hours worked over 40 is paid at x
1.

25:

Weekend working and bank holiday working is paid at
x 1.5

Essential requirements:

Ability to work within a team and independently to meet multiple deadlines
A reasonable level of written and verbal communication skills in English, so able to understand instructions and perform tasks
Ability to work accurately and methodically, dealing with counting and numbers
Adaptability
High organisation skills toward tasks
Punctual and flexible approach to tasks and duties

Desirable skills & experience:

Experience of working within the hospitality or events industry
Previous experience of working in a varied warehouse environment including experience of picking and loading vehicles
