As the Performance Specialist you will play a pivotal role in driving the online marketing, web performance and online lead generation at Rhenus Road Freight.

Your responsibilities will include optimising paid advertising campaigns on LinkedIn and Google, as well as website optimisation utilising Google Analytics and SEO techniques to drive traffic to the website and ultimately create sales leads.

You will collaborate with local country sales and marketing teams to develop and optimise their campaigns, sometimes with different KPIs but ensuring our digital efforts align with business objectives and deliver measurable results.

You'll be joining the wider European Sales Team which consists of 9 colleagues and coordinates the sales and marketing effort on a central level for the Road Freight business unit.


What you can expect:


  • In this role, you will be managing LinkedIn and Google Ads campaigns, optimising budgets and targeting for ROI, and enhancing campaign results.
  • You will utilise tools like Google Analytics and conduct SEO activities. Along with the central marketing team, you will monitor and report on vital KPIs.
  • Furthermore, your role involves creating performance reports for digital marketing and websites, and provide datadriven recommendations to optimise marketing and web strategies.
  • Collaborating with the central marketing team, you will be aligning organic and paid advertising with overall goals, ensure ad compliance and implement performanceenhancing tests.
  • And of course, enjoy the flexibility of working remotely or visit your colleagues in the local branch sometimes. The choice is yours.

What you bring:


  • You have a proven experience in managing and optimising Linkedin and Google Ads campaigns.
  • Your proficiency also extends to Google Analytics, SEO, and various web analytics tools.
  • You possess an analytical mindset, you are skilled at interpreting data and generating insights.
  • While a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is advantageous, we value practical skills and handson experience more.
  • In addition, you keep uptodate knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices ensuring that we remain at the forefront of our field.
  • And finally, your strong project management and organisational skills, coupled with effective communication and interpersonal abilities, round out your impressive qualifications.
