Software Engineer -.Net, Azure, Web Development

Location:
Eastleigh, Hampshire - 1 day a week on site minimum (Tuesday)

We are actively looking to secure three
Senior Software Engineer to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Job Summary

Essential Responsibilities:

Application of industry practices to improve data and process flow within a multistage cloudbased architecture employing automated integration testing
Executes and engages using Agile Methodology; estimates efforts to complete, actions user stories and documents timely outcomes including associated tasks and defects in Agile project management systems
Drives continuous improvement of software quality customer experience, and maintainability of products/features.
Able to contribute to team planning through prioritising tasks by continuously validating in accordance with customer requests, expectations, and feedback.

Essential Experience

Database design and development
Knowledge of message queue systems (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ)
Source control systems and automated build systems (Git, Azure DevOps Pipelines).
Data storage and caching for performance
Automated UI, Unit and System level testing
RESTful webservices
Deep understanding of Microservices & cloud technologies

Desirable Experience

Web UI frameworks such as
Microservice design/implementation
Experience of Azure cloud services
Experience of production deployment using Kubernetes
Linux development and deployment
Data Structures and Design Patterns

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, Finance, or other technical related fields (OR a minimum 5 years of relevant work experience)
