The Assisted Conception Unit based at Leicester Royal Infirmary is looking for a new team member


We are a small friendly, dedicated team who support our clinical colleagues committed to providing the highest quality patient care.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and organized individual with excellent interpersonal skills to work as part of our administration support team within the Leicester Fertility Centre.

This is a fast paced varied role requiring multi-tasking. You will provide a point of contact for patients wishing to book or amend their outpatient appointment.

You will also be responsible for the screening and processing of post, screening and escalation of referrals, along with other duties such as filing, photocopying and putting together patient information packs and various other resources.


It is essential that you have the ability to work under pressure, have an excellent telephone manner and have experience dealing with the general public ideally within a hospital setting.

You must also be able to use your initiative and be able to work unsupervised.


The Assisted Conception Unit houses the Leicester Fertility Centre and is located in the Maternity (Kensington Building) part of the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

We offer both NHS and private fertility investigations and treatment within a hospital setting. We can also link to other services such as Genetics, Endocrinology and Gynaecology

About the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust: )


Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages for word processing and maintenance of excel spreadsheets are an essential part of the role.

We will provide training on other IT systems as required.
