Curo, a leading housing association in Bath, is seeking a dynamic and MRICS qualified individual to take on the role of Head of Asset Delivery.
This pivotal position involves leading the technical hub within Curo's asset management team, overseeing the development of our surveyors and providing essential qualified support.
This role will be office based a minimum of 3 days a week with the option to work from home 2 days a week.

What you'll be doing
As our RICS qualified Head of Asset Delivery, you will have budget responsibility of >£15m per annum
Your key responsibilities include:
- Providing effective and sound leadership to all technical colleagues at Curo ( 4 x direct reports, 18 in the team in total, comprising of surveyors and property inspectors) delivering planned and reactive maintenance works.
- Taking responsibility for the effective planning and cost effective delivery of maintenance work with both internal and external contractors.
- Serving as the Technical Expert, leading on a programme of continual learning and improvement in our technical capacity to deliver better, quicker and more cost effective outcomes for our customers.
More about you
The successful Head of Asset Delivery will have a background in the following:
- Be MRICS Qualified
- Leadership experience with multiple layers, having led a team of surveyors
- Experience of leading planned maintenance investment programmes, ideally within Social Housing.
- Have a strong understanding of disrepair pre action protocol from investigation through to remedy.
- Understand how to achieve full compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation such as HHSRS and Decent Homes.
- Full P/L responsibility, working closely with a Finance team, on all aspects of asset management finance, including budgets, forecasting, progress monitoring, cash flows.
We will need to take up a Disclosure and Barring Check for this role which we will do for you when you start.
