Contract Until Feb/March 2024 (Inside IR35)

Gaydon (1 day a week in the office)

£29.34 per hour Umbrella


We are looking for a Product Owner - Wheels & Tyres to join a world-leading automotive company based in Gaydon on a contract basis.

Wheels and Tyres Agile Module Leader for Wheels and Tyres on a new architecture with multiple vehicles in development


Leader of the squad:

the PO will guide and support the squad members whilst ensuring that their output is aligned and compatible with the wider business.

The members of this squad are component engineers releasing wheels, tyres, puncture management solutions and elements of the tyre pressure monitoring system.

The operating model is Agile Scrum, so the PO leads the squad daily with close support from the Scrum Master.


Skills Required for the Product Owner - Wheels & Tyres:

  • Delivery of body or chassis hardware for new model programmes in high-volume production.
  • Team coordination within a project management framework (preferably Agile).
  • Supplier management for new product delivery into highvolume production

Experience Required for the Product Owner - Wheels & Tyres:

  • Working knowledge of the main technologies for wheels, tyres and puncture management in the premium segment.
  • Experience leading a diverse team including issue resolution and presentation of the team's achievements to all levels.
  • Experienced user of project management frameworks.
  • Experience in supplier management.

Experience Preferred for the Product Owner - Wheels & Tyres

  • Delivery of wheels or tyres as a lead engineer.
  • Experience in delivery in an AGILE project environment.
  • Experience in design validation planning.
  • JLR product delivery experience.
