We provide care and support to vulnerable individuals with complex mental health needs within the community - supporting them to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.

We support individuals with daily routines, learning new skills and achieving their goals and aspirations. Our support is person-centered, and we are passionate about promoting independence for the individuals we support.

Applicants should have the following:
Experience of working with complex mental health conditions and challenging behaviour within an Independent Supported Living environment

Experience in a Senior or Team Leader role is essential

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or the equivalent is essential

Interviews will be held in person at our Head Office in Hull; social distancing rules will be adhered to.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • To take the lead in managing a team of Support Workers, including new staff Induction, providing Supervision, Annual Appraisals and 'back to work' sickness interviews.
  • Ensure that care and support is delivered to the highest standard in accordance with individual care and support plans, best professional practice, company policies and procedures and the philosophy of care. Supervise and monitor all care practice.
  • Contribute to and be responsible for staff rota's to ensure the service provides correct staffing levels and skills sets at all times.
  • To support the Registered Manager in managing the admissions procedure liaising where applicable with external agencies and families.
  • To ensure that all service users have appropriate individual care and support plans which are regularly monitored and reviewed, including key working with service users in the development, implementation, monitoring and reviewing of individual support plans.
  • To work with service users on a daytoday basis encouraging them to become as independent as possible in all aspects of their lives including developing life skills, social activities and attending a range of appointments.
  • To develop, maintain, liaise and negotiate with external agencies in relation to service delivery including service users support planning and implementation.
  • To support the Registered Manager, to implement monitor and review health and safety practice in all aspects of the services, including risk assessments, to ensure full compliance with policy, procedure and statutory requirements
