Direct Medics is a Registered Supplier to the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Trust Framework.

We are currently working with Speech and Language Therapist Assistants to help them find new and exciting opportunities with the Trusts here in Northern Ireland.

As such, we are now recruiting on behalf of the South Eastern Trust for a Band 4 SLT Assistant to work in the schools in the Lisburn area This role will be full time (37.5 hours) Monday - Friday and requires Full UK drivers license and access to a car for travel between schools.


The Speech and Language Therapy Assistant is employed to assist in the delivery of services across the Children and Young People's Speech and Language Therapy service (CYPSLT).

This includes management of children on an individual and/or group basis as well as administration tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Service.

Requirements:


  • NVQ 3 in Child Care or equivalent in relevant area Plus 2 years relevant experience
  • Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.
  • Right to Work in the UK

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 3 months


Salary:
£13.79-£24.50 per hour
