Believe it or not, Charles Bentley has been around since 1860, when we originally provided brushes for Victorian chimney sweepers We still manufacture and distribute an extensive range of brushes from our sites in Loughborough - around 2 million per year

ROLE TITLE:
Buyer
- E-Commerce Content Executive


REPORTS TO:
Andrew Steel (E-Commerce Director)


DEPARTMENT:
CBON - Online Buying Team


MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Content & Pricing

  • Working to a critical path, auditing existing content, alongside partner agencies to embellish & improve content across multiple channels.
  • Writing relevant copy (where applicable) for new products aligned to NPD pipeline.
  • Collaborating with designers to add relevant rich media content to relevant product listings.
  • Working in conjunctions with merchandising & product teams to build & control new product content across a number of online selling channels, utilising PIM & Online Aggregators (Channel Adviser & Mirakl Connect)
  • Updating promotional/campaign pricing to relevant sale channels in PIM
  • Collaborate with Customer Service teams to enhance listing content from customer feedback.
  • Working with IT Development Manager on PIM development opportunities & connections to eCommerce Platforms.

Website

  • Managing Charles Bentley website Category Structure, Banners, E-Flyers, Shopping Cart Recovery aligned to seasonal marketing activity calendar.
  • Day to day management of digital agency to support online sales growth and align to seasonal marketing Campaigns & Stock arrivals.
  • Collaborating with Digital Agency on activities to monitor and improve sales, whilst tracking results & findings.
  • Producing sales/conversation reports for Ecommerce Directors on results of activities such of PPC/SEO/Affiliates/Others
  • Create strategies & tactics to improve website traffic & conversion.
  • Regular Audits of Online channels for redundant SKU's to remove

Marketplaces

  • Day to day management of Marketplace consultants to activate product/content data enhancement across all sales channels (Marketplaces & Drop ship new line forms) as well as product content issues and challenges.
  • Collaborate with consultants to activate data reviews & enhancements for the likes of Amazon including audits of existing SKU's, PPC Campaigns & A+ Content & Brand Story opportunities.

Drop Ship Channels

  • Support eCommerce Sales Manager with New Line forms (Using Partner Agency) to extract PIM content to complete product set up opportunities

Industry Knowledge

  • Keep abreast with industry trends on Digital Marketing (PPC/SEO/Affiliates/AI/Tech) Inc. attending relevant trade shows & events.

Key Skills

  • Working Knowledge of Adobe Commerce web platform
  • Working Knowledge of Marketplace aggregators such as Channel Advisor, Linnworks, Channel Engine
  • Working Knowledge of Mirakl Connect
  • Experience with PIM & Data integrators
  • Experience with Digital Marketing Tactics (PPC, SEO, Affiliates)
  • Knowledge of Klaviyo/Google Adwords/Analytics
  • Experience running digital marketing campaigns,
  • Excellent excel skill's including formula's, VLook up's & pivot tables.
  • Ability to work under pressure
