Description

My client are a global, leading freight forwarding looking for an experienced Seafreight Import Operator to join their busy team This is a hybrid working opportunity working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Daily duties will include:

Controlling import seafreight shipments FCL and LCL from origin to destination
Liaising with clients and overseas partners
Creating and managing shipments on cargowise
Ensuring all documents and customs clearance information are received in a timely manner
Arranging imports customs clearance
Arranging collection and delivery as per client requirements
Handling queries
Client invoicing

Requirements needed:

Minimum 2 years experience in a seafreight import role working for a freight forwarder is ESSENTIAL
Excellent communication skills
Experience using CNS and Destin8 is ESSENTIAL
Steady work history for referencing purposes
