We do not mind what your background is as a Marketing Manager but all round generic Marketing experience would be useful.

What you should have is an outgoing personality with a great, dedicated work ethic.


The role of Marketing Manager


Responsible for planning, implementing, and directing all aspects of marketing activity in the Marketing department, within budgets and timelines set.

Implement procedures and production of the company product catalogue.

Maintain directory of Group marketing support material for Members.

Organise marketing material for digital resources working with designers.

Compile information for promotional flyers and organise distribution.

Overall responsible for quality of content created on leaflets and social media.

Responsible for organising and proofing product branding, labels and packaging.

Liaise with suppliers for product resources (images, descriptions etc.) to market their products.

Organise and proof course content updates for digital resources


Liaise and co-ordinating with the Procurement and IT team on content for existing product range and introduction of new products.

Event planning and organisation for corporate exhibitions.

Support the Sales & Marketing Committee and ensure actions passed are being completed.


Working with and supporting PR Companies ensuring in line with budget set and that work is being carried out to a satisfactory level.

Travel to General meetings for the purpose of presenting to the membership on marketing projects.

Manage and develop a small marketing team of 3

Conduct team appraisals and employee review meetings.

Address employee issues that need disciplinary action, diplomacy, sensitivity, and nurturing.

Communicating with the committees, membership and Head Office team to develop and enhance Team approach methods.

Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.

Highly self-motivated with an ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly.

Ability to be approachable to staff, good communication skills and provide excellent leadership skills.

Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks and manage workload in a timely manner.


Education/Experience/Qualifications:

At least one marketing qualification; CIM, HND, foundation degree or degree. QBE may be considered.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a marketing and management role.

Experience working in a team-oriented, management, collaborative, and demanding environment.

Experienced using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

Experienced in Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
