An opportunity has arisen for Band 3 Theatre Circulating Assistants to work with our dynamic team based at University College Hospital London at Westmoreland Street.

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH), situated in the West End of London is one of the largest NHS Trusts in the UK.

It provides first class acute and specialist services both locally and to patients from throughout the UK and Abroad. UCLH at Westmoreland Street, specialises in Urology and Thoracic surgery, and is a national centre for Robotic Prostatectomy.

The Theatre Circulating Assistant is a vital member of the multidisciplinary team and the post holder must have a genuine interest in patient care.

Relevant experience and good communication skills are essential for this post.

Duties include supporting patients and the theatre team in varying roles, for example, assisting the operating team during theatre procedures and preparing and cleaning the theatre environment.

Delegated work and duties will be assigned and carried out under the direct and indirect supervision of a Lead Theatre Practitioner as appropriate.

You will be allocated to work in Theatres at UCLH at Westmoreland Street. Please note, elements of this role are physically demanding.
