Warehouse Operative - North Devon

Picking, packing and managing stock.
Full time & Part time hours) work available.

We are recruiting for a new warehouse operative team member based in South Molton, Devon. You will be working for one of the UK's largest suppliers of used motorcycle parts.

We ship hundreds of products every week to customers around the world.

We are licensed by the Environment Agency and perform our duties to the highest environmental standards.


Experience
You don't need previous experience, you'll get on the job training.

A knowledge of automotive parts would be an advantage but by no means necessary for this role.


What you will be doing with our team:

  • Check and file invoices ready for picking.
  • Pick, pack and ship all orders.
  • Packing large items and high value items efficiently.
  • Customer returns receive and stow.
  • Move heavy parts with industrial pallet trucks and pallets.
  • Optional fork lift training provided.
  • Managing stock physically in the warehouse.
  • Using IT skills to update software and systems.
  • Answering customer queries customer satisfaction is extremely important.

Skills you need to bring:


  • Your safety comes first.
.You must be able to follow safety, quality and production standards.

  • You may stand and walk for a long time and this could be up to 8 hours per shift.
  • You may need to lift and move products that weigh up to 23kg.
  • You need to be able to lift, bend, twist, kneel and crouch.
  • You need to be able to handle a full range of motorcycle parts, including engines and large exhausts, wheels and panels.
