To be responsible to support all residents within the home; ensuring the very best outcomes are met and residents are safe and well cared for.

Understand within the context of your role to comply and be accountable for ensuring you support the service to meet the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and Care Quality Commission (Registration) regulations 2009.


Support the people in the home to achieve the outcomes they wish to achieve - through an enabling and supportive approach.

Support colleagues to remain supportive at all times of the people who live and work in the home.


Ensuring our culture of inclusion, diversity & equality is consistently demonstrated through all that you do - including within all electronic systems, discussions, meetings and training.


Ensuring families and care partners are supported and enabled to be as involved with the home and their loved ones as they wish to be.


Your role is key to how each person who lives in the home, supports and enables days that are the person's way - every day.

You will be required to complete training for medication administration through our E-Mar system - you are required to ensure people who can take their own medication and supported to do

so - this will be ascertained in conjunction with Team Leaders and Nurses within the home.


Your role entails helping people to move, which means you are required to be attend and complete training in Moving & Positioning of people and the equipment we use.


You will be required to complete all Statutory and Mandatory training required for your role - it is imperative that you complete this and continue to keep these training modules updated - we will support you with this through our training plans and our training portal.


Understand, comply with company policies and standards - ensuring that you understand and adhere to these (which is inclusive of policy updates and reviews).


You will be encouraged to develop in your role and will be asked to attend meetings on a regular basis to discuss your career and where you would like to move to next.

Your role includes delivery of personal care - this means you will support people with intimate washing/drying.

Supporting the individual in how they wish to be dressed and presented, including shaving, hair style, nails, teeth and anything else the individual would like to enable them to feel good.

To effectively communicate with the care home leadership team in all matters in relation to the business.
