Job Summary:


To ensure the premises and grounds are maintained to a high standard and provide the residents with a safe, comfortable and pleasant environment in which to live.

Maintain all records/audits in accordance with company policies, procedures and guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Check the maintenance book daily and carry out any repairs as required or contact engineers
  • Ensure weekly and monthly maintenance audits are up to date and accurate to comply with legal requirements
  • Ensure the weekly fire checks are completed which includes the fire system, fire extinguishers and fire doors and record all findings, Ensure the appropriate remedial action is taken
  • Undertake PAT Testing of electrical equipment (training can be provided)
  • To familiarise themselves with the Biomass heating system to ensure this is working correctly.
  • Undertake general decoration work of main areas and bedrooms as requested by the management.
  • To work alongside the management team to ensure the homes maintenance plan is on schedule. (this will include the renovation of ensuite bathrooms etc)
- undertake ground maintenance ensuring the outside grounds are kept to a good standard.
- effectively managing time and meeting all specified deadlines.
- to be on call at weekends for emergencies.

  • To adhere to all health and safety aspects of the job role.

  • A DBS is needed for this role._
