£18,000 in Year One (reviewed annually)


HOURS:37.5 hours Monday - Friday

Renault Trucks are part of the Volvo Group, with our UK Head Office in Warwick. We have a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career, someone looking to change career or a school leaver to join us our Brand & Communications department as a

Digital Marketing Apprentice in September. The successful applicant will benefit from on-the-job training and support to gain practical skills, alongside attaining a formal degree qualification. The degree course will give the apprentice the skills to plan, execute and evaluate successful digital campaigns.

The Renault Trucks Brand & Communications department delivers all events & exhibitions, product communications, traditional & digital marketing, relationship marketing, internal marketing communications & dealer marketing within the UK & Ireland so it is a great opportunity to get involved in everything that we do.


What's Required

  • You have, or are predicted to achieve, 3 A-Levels at CCC or above, including in English
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above including in Mathematics and English
  • UK/EU/EAA resident for at least 3 years prior to starting the course
  • Have left full time education when the apprenticeship starts
  • Right to work in the UK

Course outline

The apprenticeship is taught at undergraduate level (Levels 4-6) over three years, starting with a foundation of business and management topics that will underpin a specialism in digital media for marketing.

The course covers marketing, communications and strategy, apprentices will gain core knowledge, skills and behaviours required to thread innovation and insight through every project.

With digital technologies constantly transforming the marketing landscape, this programme will support marketing professionals to take advantage of new opportunities for delivering creative campaigns with measurable impact.

About the role:


You will provide support to the Brand & Communications team with project management & administrative activities which will give you a rounded experience of working within a B2B Brand & Communications department.

We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, that demonstrates an ability to learn quickly, follow processes, be creative and curious as well as having a great eye for detail.

The role reports directly to the Renault Trucks Digital Marketing Communications Manager.

You will have the opportunity to liaise with the global marketing teams based in our HQ in Lyon, & business areas with the UK.

While doing this, you will get to learn about different areas of the department & the organisation, giving you a sound & broad understanding of marketing within a business environment.

Throughout the apprenticeship, key projects will be identified, based on your previous experience, newly learnt skills & enthusiasm for specific channels or business areas.


What will you be doing?

We will provide the support and guidance needed for you to be able to confidently perform the following tasks:

  • Website management, including reviewing, editing & improving the current company websites
  • Social media management planning, post creation & community management for key social channels.
  • Digital advertising & social media content planning working with the Digital Marketing Communications Manager to define strategy, plan content, write copy & manage asset creation for business areas.
  • Network newsletter creation coordinating the copy & design of the national enewsletter
  • Competitor reviews carry out a comprehensive review of key competitors & benchmarking digital activity against the Renault Trucks digital channels & deliver on new initiatives & ideas.
  • Support Digital Marketing Communications Manager & Events Manager
