Finance Assistant
Milborrow Chimney Sweeps & Croydon Fireplaces - Crawley RH10

£12 - £12.50 p/h - Part-time / Full-time, Permanent


Role Requirements:

• Accounting knowledge foundation/entry level Bookkeeping (numeracy essential).
• The ability to work traditional bookkeeping and online bookkeeping programs (we use Xero).
• Updating programme with products & services (Filemaker).
• Assisting Installation Manager with Estimates, Invoices & Admin.
• Processing Job Sheets from the Operatives, reconciling monies received against Jobs.
• Processing cash and cheques received onto Xero, updating Job Sheets and paying in book ready to be banked.
• Construction background ideal, but not essential.
• A professional, presentable appearance and keen positive attitude when working with your colleagues and the general public.
• The ability to be self motivated, flexible, independent and happy to take and follow instructions.
• Initially to shadow another to understand the processes and workings of the company and then to progress into the role.
• 20 hours a week minimum with the option of progressing to a full time position down the line.
• Availability for overtime to be worked when there is work to be completed to keep on top of the task.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Croydon Fireplaces has a showroom of >110 appliances across 48+ top brands they supply through Premier and Expert Retailer accounts with an onsite warehousing of >400 appliances in stock for immediate installation together with parts, spares etc as required.

We only use flue materials from top manufacturers (Mi Flues, Poujoulat, Specflue & Midtherm) so our flue materials are of superior quality.

Brands we install are not limited to Charnwood, Stovax & Gazco Group, ESSE, Stuv, Element 4, Bellfire and Barbas, Rocal, Heta, Hunter Group, Chesney's, Clearview, Morso and Jotul.

• Competitive pay rate based on experience and progress
• Working 25 days Monday to Friday 9am 5pm plus we are open Saturdays 9am 4pm with flexibility on hours available
• 28 days Holiday (incl bank holidays) pro rata in line the part time hours
