Passenger Assistant working 5 days on 3 days off on rotating shift basis between Monday and Sunday
Starting 5.00am - Finish 2.00am
Fixed Term Contract until October 31st 2023
Pay Rate increase on 1st April to £11.06 per hour
The main purpose of the role is to ensure the safe transfer of Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM) through the airport terminal in a timely manner, providing mobility assistance and enabling passengers to enjoy all aspects of the airport experience.
We are looking for a customer focused and friendly individual to join our team of workers and help create a memorable experience for every visitor to the airport.
Main Duties:
- Meet and greet arriving/departing/transferring Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM)
- Communicate effectively with the passengers and staff
- Assist Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM) at drop off/pick up points, airline checkIn, airport security and preboarding aircraft.
- In a safely manner, assist in the transfer of passengers from aircraft to airport terminal using various equipment
- Comply with all Health & Safety regulations.
- Use company equipment responsibly ensuring all equipment
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- Ability to communicate with people and colleagues at all levels
- Ability to lift passengers in accordance with manual handling guidelines.
