Teaching Assistant - Brent
Are you a recent graduate keen to commence your career in education? Or are you an experienced Teaching Assistant seeking your next opportunity supporting vulnerable students in Brent?


Tradewind Recruitment is working with a mainstream Secondary School in Brent who are seeking a talented, passionate Teaching Assistant to join their Inclusion team ASAP.

This long term contract will commence ASAP and run until the end of the academic year andoffers £75 - £85 per day based on experience.


This Secondary School is centrally located in Brent, servicing a large community of students, many of whom require specialist support within the classroom to reach their full potential.

As a Teaching Assistant at this mainstream school, you will support studentswith mild SEN to engage in their classes, run out of classroom intervention sessions and assist in homework and extracurricular clubs.


This position would particularly suit an aspiring Teacher seeking to gain valuable experience within the Secondary Classroom before commencing Teacher Training.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold a recent undergraduate degree or have significant Secondary classroom experience
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Be passionate about education and be confident creating rapport with Secondary pupils
